Eighteen Irish companies have been named among the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The firms made the Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA list, which ranks technology companies from 21 countries in EMEA with a minimum revenue of €50,000 in year one.
The winner of the Irish Fast 50, PulseLearning, ranked 51st in the EMEA table, while second and third placed Zamano and Digiweb were 74th and 77th in the overall EMEA ranking.
Top of the EMEA list was Israeli firm Voltaire.
The Fast 500 also identified Ireland as good environment for technology businesses, naming it as one of the countries in which technology businesses were more likely to succeed along with Norway, Israel, Sweden, Finland and Holland.
Two hundred of the 500 companies were involved in the software sector.
