WherePuerto Banus

WhyIt's the happening place at the moment and the majority of my friends are going there. It'll be sunny, fun and buzzing.

DisadvantagesIt's quite expensive, the flights, shared accommodation and insurance all came to about €500 and that excludes spending money for shopping, food and partying.

ActivitiesApart from clubbing I want to get a tan on the beaches, do a bit of sightseeing and of course shop.

Who's payingI worked a part-time job in Leisureplex and saved to pay for it myself.

WhyWell, I suppose it's a bit of a tradition with my friends and I as we've been going there for the last few years but, in my opinion, it's much better than going away and cheaper too.

CostIt's really cheap! However much the train costs, so about €30 I think, and then food and the like. We don't have to pay for accommodation as we stay in my friend Ros's house. Thanks Ros!

What's the planWell, not a whole lot really considering the whole town is on one street, but I just want to relax and wind-down after the stress of the Leaving Cert.

WhereThe plan is Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Venice, Vienna, Paris, Barcelona – awesome!

Who withThree girls and five guys including myself. There were originally 10 going but two girls bailed out last minute and are going by themselves.

WhyIt's super-awesome!

ActivitiesThere will be sightseeing obviously, but mainly we want to meet as many new people and do as many new things as possible.

Have you a girlfriendNo, but one girl's boyfriend isn't coming and she's all like "what if he cheats" but we reassure her that he hasn't what it takes.

How muchAccommodation €297, ticket €309 for 22 days, flights €180, food and spending money €1,500.

NervousNo, we're going in a big group so we're less likely to get ambushed or kidnapped like in Hostel or Hostel 2.

WhyYeah, I know it's conformist and everyone's doing it but that's one of the reasons my friends and I are going.

PlansWe all want to see the matadors and a bullfight. Some of the girls plan on taking cultural day trips too.

Who is payingI worked for a while as a waitress in Rathgar and I was saving for this but, you know how it is, the money kinda disappeared so the parents are bailing me out!

AccommodationWe're staying in a villa, not apartments. I'd rather pay that bit extra and be able to have a warm shower.
