Presidential feasts in the castle
The newly-appointed head chef at the historic Castle Leslie Estate, Matthew King (above), can boast he has cooked for two American presidents.
When he worked at New York's famous Essex House, he prepared meals for Bill Clinton and George Bush as well as many other foreign dignatories.
"In this business, we all thrive on that sort of pressure and it is marvellous to have cooked meals for some of the most famous people in the world," says the Massachusetts native.
Castle Leslie, located in Glaslough, Co Monaghan, also has a cookery school where King passes on his top tips from the kitchen.
