No 1 Pery Sq takes a bow

Congratulations to No 1 Pery Square Hotel Spa Limerick for being named on the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller magazine’s Hot List 2009. This original hotel in the Georgian quarter of Limerick is the only Irish hotel listed for 2009 and features alongside the St Regis in Bali and the Four Seasons Anahita, Mauritius, among others.

Irish sales on Explore, an adventure-holiday company that specialises in small group tours to exotic destinations, are up 40 per cent. Ashley Toft, managing director of Explore says: “Our Irish customers are definitely on the lookout for edgier destinations and are starting to discover locations such as the ’Stans (particularly Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan) as well as Mongolia, North Korea and China. Morocco is substantially up with Irish customers.”
