The offer is for seven nights holiday in French resorts including Morzine, Meribel and Val d’Isère which it says have high altitude slopes and good snow records.

While the adult price of €905 doesn’t include flights, the price for children under 12 of €744 does. Accommodation is half board and includes breakfast, evening meals and a complimentary bar.

Prices include minibus transfers to and from your chalet, which have saunas, hot tubs and log fires. The complimentary bar comes with unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee. There are also free treats for the piste each day, including bottles of water, snacks and tissues.

THE BEAUFORT Hotel in Knightsbridge, London is offering overnight guests a complimentary bar from 3pm to 11pm, daily afternoon cream tea with home-made scones and clotted cream, and free WiFi.

There’s also a 20 per cent discount for guests who stay two nights before March 31st at the boutique hotel.

Rooms at the Beaufort, which is within walking distance of Harrods and Beauchamp Place, cost between £204 and £420 (€241 and €496) per room per night.

The hotel is also offering a “suite shopping dreams” deal if you stay in a junior suite for three nights at £295 (€350), plus Vat per room per night. You get all of the above freebies as well as daily membership to a “top London health club” and a £50 (€59) voucher for Harrods.

Catch:breakfast is not included. You could stay at a cheaper hotel and buy your own drinks.

IF YOU couldn’t quite summon the courage to propose on St Valentine’s Day, Outdoors Ireland in Killarney has an offer of assistance.

Anyone who decides to ask their girlfriend or boyfriend to marry them on either the summit of Carrauntoohil or on a kayak trip on the Killarney Lakes gets the trip for free.

According to a spokesperson from the company: “If they say ‘yes’, their trip with us is free of charge and if they say ‘no’, we’ll give you a voucher to return with someone else.”

Catch:you might think this is a win-win but it's a long way back down the mountain or to the other side of the lake if you get turned down.
