Columbia Lay D Down jacket
I’ve had a little criticism that the gadgets here are often bloke-centric. Not that I’m for a moment acknowledging that, but here’s a great piece of women’s cosy kit for skiing or wintery walks.
The jacket features Columbia’s Omni-Heat and Omni-Shield clothing technology. The heat-reflective lining is said to keep in 20 per cent more heat.

Keyguard Digital Safe
Popular in many parts of the world, the key safe – a secure key holder – hasn’t really caught on here yet. Given the amount of travelling we do however, perhaps it’s worth considering. It gives you the flexibility of allowing temporary or emergency access to a set of keys, whilst keeping them safe, so to speak.
