QUIZ NIGHT

Literary Festival
The West Cork Literary Festival runs all this week in Bantry. There are workshops, afternoon and flagship evening events including novelist, screenwriter and playwright Fay Weldon, who will be in conversation with journalist Sue Leonard at 8.30pm on Friday. SPACE WORKSHOP
As part of the Space Hop summer reading challenge, a drawing workshop and talk will be given by Deirdre Kelleghan tomorrow at 11am in the New Ross Library and at 2pm in Wexford Library. The aim is to teach children about space exploration by examining drawings of space vehicles such as Sputnik and Apollo. There will be a slideshow and talk. Suitable for ages 8-12. FAMILY FESTIVAL
The Irish Film Institute in Temple Bar is holding a family festival until Sunday, bringing world-class films to younger audiences. There are workshops throughout the week, on topics such as graffiti art and animated flick books. Highlights include Mia and the Migoo (above) tomorrow, a French animation with English subtitles. LAUGHTER AND INDIE
The Róisín Dubh in Galway hosts an evening of comedy tonight featuring PJ Gallagher (left), Aidan Bishop and Karl Spain, while afterwards DJ Monty hits the decks.
