TWO VERY different properties in Co Wexford are on the market although both are near Gorey.

Directly on the sea at Poulshone, an architect’s futuristic house is a new take on the seaside chalet. Meanwhile, in a quiet rural settting is Moneylawn, is an 18th century stone farmhouse with enough land to encourage dreams of getting away from it all.

DNG O’Sullivan is asking €450,000 for 2 Pollshone Harbour, one of four two-bedroom steel and timber framed houses built two years ago by architectural practice Meehan McClean and shortlisted in 2008 for a Royal Insitute of British Architects European award as a good example of alternative seaside development.
