Maplewood, the major home builder responsible for thousands of homes around Dublin since the 1970s, is launching phase two of its Sion Hill Park scheme, a 69-home estate just off Griffith Avenue launched in April.
Built by its offshoot company Maplewood Residential, the leafy Drumcondra site provides great views across the city, and the first phase of 20 four-bedroom semis measuring 171sq m (1850sq ft) in size has almost sold out. Sixteen of the properties priced between €670,000 and €4740,000 have already been sold.
Phase two of the A2- and A3-rated homes, launches this weekend. They comprises three-bedroom, two-storey, mid-terrace homes, measuring between 1600sq ft and 1700sq ft in size with prices from €465,000 and four-bedroom, three-storey end-of-terrace houses where prices start from €570,000.
The properties are being sold through agents DNG and were designed by McCrossan O’Rourke Manning Architects.
The properties feel light and spacious, in part helped by extra ceiling heights, 2.74m instead of the standard 2.4m. The sharp interiors include smart painted solid wood kitchens with quartz countertops, by Ballyhaunis-based Keane, and are available in any Farrow and Ball colour.
Sion Hill has no management company so there are no annual fees.
