A modern house at the seaside in Wexford, a two-bed by the Luas, an executive home in Howth and a D6W Edwardian redbrick are all on view this weekend
RECTORY GROVE, a small modern development in the seaside village of Duncormick in Co Wexford, has no less than three of its 13 houses for sale at present. One of these, number 1, a three-bed, was auctioned by Savills last week but failed to find a buyer at the advised minimum value (AMV) of €225,000. Now the price has been dropped to €199,500 to effect a quick sale. The two other houses for sale in the development are priced at over €100,000 more.
The development is near the beach and within view of Duncormick Church. The village dates back to Norman times when longships landed at Bannow Bay and invaders stopped in Duncormick before storming the walls of Wexford.
Built just two years ago, the dormer style house is in good decorative order throughout. It has a spacious sittingroom that connects through to the kitchen-cum-diningroom. The first of the bedrooms is downstairs, along with a bathroom, while there are two double bedrooms, one of them en suite upstairs. Joint agents are Brian Wallace Auctioneers of Wellingtonbridge.
On view Sunday, noon-1pm
