Nautical flag, from Australia’s Young Folk Store, an online shop and interior design service (00-61-416-387 122 youngfolkstore.com.au), has adapted the graphic design of maritime flags for use in a child’s bedroom with the colours Elephant Ear grey, Faraway blue, Kirra teal, and Hello Yello yellow, designed by Jason Brand, for Oz paint company Murobond. (The colours can be replicated by any of the larger paint companies nearer to home.)

The company also sells a mind-opening book of cartography for kids called Maps (about €27), and is offering Irish Times readers the chance to buy it less 10 per cent via its Contact Us page on the site. Shipping to Ireland is an additional €17. This offer ends April 14th.

Capture the stormy energy of the Baltic Sea with this wallpaper design by Teija Vartianen, made by working with aquerelles painted onto wet paper. It comes in six colours (it is pictured in blue) and costs about €152 per 10- metre roll. Available at Feathr (feathr.com), an online wallpaper shop that features the work of more than 50 artists. They offer this design to Irish Times readers less 10 per cent using the offer code LETSROLL. The offer ends on April 14th.
