Ingredients
- 1kg Brussels sprouts
- Few knobs of butter
- Olive oil for cooking
- 200g smoked bacon rashers, diced
Cook the Brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for eight to nine minutes, until slightly softened. Drain the sprouts, refresh under cold running water and drain thoroughly. Just before serving, heat a little butter and olive oil in a large sauté pan. And the smoked bacon and sauté until cooked, add the sprouts and sauté until tender.
