Have you got an idea for a new food product, but don't know how to go about getting it to market, never mind on supermarket shelves? Go back to school, at Food Academy Start, a new training programme launched today which harnesses the considerable knowledge and experience of Bord Bia, SuperValu and the County Enterprise Boards. Food Academy Start will provide workshop training, run by the 35 County Enterprise Boards, that will include Dragons' Den-style pitches to regional SuperValus, and feedback from the retailer. Some participants will be offered local and possibly national listings in SuperValu shops. To apply to participate in the scheme, register your interest in Food Academy Start at enterpriseboards.ie, or contact your local County Enterprise Board.
