October is Breast Cancer Month, and Carmel Knight of Brastraps.ie, which makes decorative sparkly bra straps and shoulder jewellery to brighten up exposed underwear, has created two special pink styles from which 20 per cent of the proceeds will go to the Marie Keating Foundation. The straps are a pink double-diamanté strand and a pink hand-beaded style, which are €24.95 and €49.95 respectively.
The hand-beaded item is crafted in California in a fairtrade women’s co-operative, and both straps are presented in a pink organza bag with the pink-ribbon symbol. Delivery is free within Ireland and throughout the EU. See www.brastraps.ie for details.
