Sneak peak of COS autumn winter 2015 collection

COS have just released a sneak peak of their autumn winter collection and the Swedish brand have hit the nail on the head once again. Proportion, and the way clothing sits on the body continues to be played with and technical details are kept to the highest standard. Functionality and considered, modern design remain of upmost importance and devotees of the brand will not be disappointed.

Karin Gustafsson, Head of Womenswear Design, said; “The autumn / winter 2015 collection is very much inspired by nature and landscape, with versatile ready-to-wear styles in glacial and algae like tones and patterns. Our other great inspiration was traditional dress from East Asia. ”

Asian influences were important this season, and could be recognised in draped Kimono-like layering and dramatic minimalism.  In addition the brand previewed the collection in Hong Kong to the back drop of a unique Urban Landscape installation created by architect André Fu and his studio AFSO.

Martin Andersson, Head of Menswear Design, said; “We are super happy to work with such a respected architect in the creation of the Urban Landscape. We feel that André has created a dynamic setting that seamlessly combines key elements from our seasonal inspirations, with the use of both natural components and simple yet impactful shapes and textures.”
