The Irish Times took home five of the 21 awards up for grabs at the Irish Food Writing Awards, including gongs for best restaurant feature writing and best cookery writing.
Marie Claire Digby, The Irish Times senior food writer, won awards for best restaurant feature writing and best writing on Irish food producers.
The winners of the Irish food writer awards, now in its third year, were announced at a ceremony in the RDS on Thursday.
The Irish Times contributor Beth O’Brien won the award for best cookery writing, while Vritti Bansal took home the award for best writing on international cuisines. The Irish Times also won the award for best food magazine or supplement.

There were more than 90 finalists shortlisted in the awards, set up in 2021 to honour food writing on the island of Ireland.
Food writer Suzanne Campbell, who runs the awards with Paul O’Connor, said she was “overwhelmed” with the amount of entries that had been received this year.
“It’s been a great experience again working with our international judges and Irish food and drink sponsor companies without which the awards couldn’t have happened,” she said.
Caroline Hennessy from The Irish Examiner won the award for food writing on sustainability, while Joe McNamee from the same publication took the award for best restaurant critic.
