Not a bad idea at all: take a huge Dublin park that has previously played host to the likes of REM, section off a portion of it, erect a canvas contraption to keep out the rain and the wind, and – voila! – you have a ready-made, reasonably intimate space.

Tonight sees The Coronas headline, along with a marquee guest slot from KT Tunstall, and turns from Royseven and former Blizzards frontman, Bressie. Tomorrow night plays host to Villagers, who are bound to preview material from their in-progress new album; special guests include the wonderful Beach House and well-regarded Stornoway.

Sunday sees Joanna Newsom (pic) play the venue, with special guests Bert Jansch and James Vincent McMorrow. On Tuesday, Roger Daltrey performs in its entirety Tommy, one of rock’s classic “operas”, as well as thundering through some of The Who’s terrific back catalogue.

All in all, a wide choice of acts that touches on most demographics, and a series of shows that could act as a pointer for future adventures in hi-fi.
