Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton may have started something here. After last year's retooling of the Mission Impossible theme by the U2 rhythm section, Orbital throw their oar by tackling the signature tune from the forthcoming film of The Saint, in which Val Kilmer resurrects superspy Simon Templar from the depths of time. The bothers Hartnoll rejig the familiar old theme in their own retro-techno style, giving it a Nineties spin while retaining its sophisticated Sixties London style.
