Taylor Swift boosts Reputation with Croke Park gig next summer

Tickets for June 15th concert will go on sale on Friday, December 1st, from €74.50

Pop superstar Taylor Swift will play Croke Park next summer has part of her Reputation stadium tour.

Her concert on June 15th is one of only three she has announced to promote her new album, which topped the iTunes charts in 111 countries.

Swift, who has had her issues with streaming services in the past, withheld all but four songs from both Spotify and Apple Music. Instead, she offered the album as a single purchase either on Apple or on CD.

As a consequence Reputation become the biggest-selling album of the year in the US in a single week, with 1.23 million sales, beating Ed Sheeran's Divide comfortably.

Reputation sold more hard copies on CD than the rest of the top 200 albums put together on the Billboard 200.

The other dates for her UK and Ireland tour are June 8th at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and on June 22nd in Wembley Stadium.

Tickets are on sale from €74.50 on sale from Friday December 1st.
