It's just days to go to what some have called the 'Electric Picnic for Westies,' or `Weshties' as others put it.

The Secret Village festival in Co Roscommon begins on Friday. You can meet all sorts of exotics such as Sing Sing and the Gypsy Dogs, the singular Austerity Dub, non-golfing 9 Irons, that darn Kicking Bird, and Well Dressed Hobos, My Tribe Your Tribe or The Dandy Horses and Chase Nova. Know a few of those? U NO WHO will play as well.

There will be lots of Mud and Wood , though the weekend weather is forecast good.

Also playing will be the Ballaghadreamers. Now there’s a hint. Got it? Excellent. Now it can be told. This year’s Secret Village Festival begins in Ballaghaderreen on Friday from 4.30pm and continues through Saturday.
