A campaign is under way to save Ringo Starr’s childhood home from being bulldozed.
The drummer spent his early years at 9 Madryn Street, Liverpool, and the campaign claims that its demolition would damage the Fab Four’s heritage. “The homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon are already preserved, and Ringo is no less important,” said campaign leader and Ringo lookalike Max Frudd.
