The first in a new showcase series takes place at Dublin's Grand Social venue tonight. Waterford music fan Hazel Lake founded The Noisy Plug Sessions to dispel the notion of "cliques" in Irish music. She plans to establish an exchange programme of bands around the country. Tonight's gig features El Hombre Jokes, Willow Sea, Van Basten and Junah and is €5 at the door.
