Never a band to do things by half, Metallica have released 10 new music videos in the space of just 24 hours, to promote their new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct. The videos – shot by various directors including Metallica collaborators Jonas Åkerlund, Herring and Herring and Brett Murray in locations worldwide – are a nifty way of allowing fans to get a preview of their 10th album ahead of release. Hardwired is Metallica's first studio album since 2008's Death Magnetic. It will be officially released on Friday, November 18th, via the band's own label Blackened Recordings. Keep an eye on irishtimes.com tomorrow for an exclusive, in-depth interview with the band's motormouth drummer Lars Ulrich.
