Dublin rock band The Minutes are planning a special Magical Mystery Tour for fans who have bought tickets for their upcoming Christmas gig at Whelan’s in December.

Fifty fans will be brought on a mystery bus trip before being treated to a warm-up gig at “one of Dublin’s finest boozers” on November 29th. It’s not the first time that the band have dreamt up such an adventure – the last “mystery tour” in 2010 involved a party bus travelling to the Dublin Mountains before returning to Dublin’s Thomas House venue for the gig.

“These shows are good because they’re a opportunity to have a bit of craic with our fans,” said frontman Mark Austin.

Austin promises an equally memorable night for fans on November 29th, where the trio will be road-testing new material as they prepare to head into the studio to record their second album. To enter, send a picture of yourself with your ticket for the Whelan's gig to theminutescompetition@gmail.com by November 16th. The Magical Mystery Tour draw will be made on November 19th.
