Kaleidoscope: Line-up for new family-friendly festival revealed

Bell X1 and Tom Odell to headline bill that also includes Wild Youth and Wyvern Lingo

The line-up for Kaleidoscope, the new three-day family-friendly festival at Russborough Estate this summer, has been announced.

Bell X1 and Tom Odell are among the well-known names headlining the Co Wicklow music and arts weekend. The bill also includes the Irish acts Wild Youth, The Riptide Movement, Kíla, Delorentos, King Kong Company, Wyvern Lingo, Hermitage Green and Dublin Gospel Choir.

Aimed at children and teenagers of all ages, as well as their parents, the festival begins on Friday, June 28th, the day almost all schools break for the summer holidays. As well as music, it will feature a spoken-word stage, a range of outdoor activities and a festival of food, among other things.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday. An early-bird family ticket, available until May 1st, with camping for two adults and two children costs €105.75. After that, weekend camping tickets for adults will cost €125.75. Children's tickets cost between €33.65 and €75.75, according to age; under-twos go free. Noncamping tickets will also be on sale. A discount is available for anyone who has been to at least one Electric Picnic festival; Kaleidoscope is a collaboration between Electric Picnic, the Tenth Man and Event Fuel.
