Congratulations to Irish director Shimmy Marcus. His entertaining drama Soulboy, a tale of the English northern soul scene, won the best film award at the EnfantsTerribles strand of the 48th Gijon International Film Festival in Spain. Glad to hear Shimmy is still of an age to receive such a gong.
