Bosnia has reopened its doors to Angelina Jolie and her mighty lips. It’s a strange story. The country had originally banned Jolie from shooting her directorial debut within their borders following objections from a women’s group. The organisation claimed that the film’s plot hangs around a Bosnian rape victim who ends up falling in love with her Serbian assailant.
After reading the script, Bosnian culture minister Gavrilo Grahovac agreed to allow the shoot to progress. Jolie’s people claim that the authorities had initially been handed “wrong information”.
