Film club minds its language

Now here’s a suave initiative

Now here's a suave initiative. Some imaginative folk in Bray, Co Wicklow, have set up an event aimed at showing international cinema classics in their original languages with subtitles. The Kinoteka Club kicks off next Tuesday with an unspooling of Carlos Saura's powerful Cría Cuervos, runner-up at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival.

The screenings take place in the fabulous Harbour Bar, which was recently (and justifiably) named best pub in the world by

Lonely Planet

readers. Hunt down the Kinoteka Facebook page or email kinoteka.bray@ gmail.com.
