Jelly was having a good day while she ate some raspberry jelly, called Jimmy, in the kitchen.

Her mam and dad had gone to the shop and her older brother, Timmy, was minding her.

Timmy was annoying her as he smacked her with pillows.

“STOP! Go away!” shouted Jelly very loudly.

Jelly stomped down the stairs to tell her mam and dad.

“Chill down,” said Jelly’s mam.

“Can Stacey sleep over?” asked Jelly.

“Yes.”

That evening, Stacey came along with her pets. She couldn’t decide which one to bring so she brought, Mr Franklin the mole, Matt the cat, and Max the golden retriever.

Jelly threw her plate of jelly and ran up to her room and hid when she saw Max. She was scared of dogs because of her allergies.

When she calmed down, she read the next part of her book to Stacey, but she got a little bit scared and squeezed Susan the cockroach.

“Stop being such a scaredy cat,” said Stacey.

Stacey and Jelly stopped being friends for a while and Stacey went home.

The next moment, Timmy came into the room with his capybara, Leo, who ate more of Jelly’s book.

Jelly didn’t have time to get angry because a publisher rang her about her book.

They asked her to send them a copy of her book.

When she sent the book she forgot about the missing pages until two days later…
