Win tickets to Dublin Dance Festival this May

Dublin Dance Festival’s 21st Edition, taking place from May 13th to May 24th, brings two weeks of daring and exhilarating dance to the city’s stages.

To celebrate this milestone festival, DDF is giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to experience one of four sensational dance performances by trailblazing artists from Ireland and abroad.

Witness Matthew Bourne’s award-winning Swan Lake which shattered convention and took the dance theatre world by storm; follow the powerful story of a young boy’s arrival into Belfast in Oona Doherty’s Specky Clark, featuring music by Lankum; explore the rich and vibrant culture of Lagos with Re:INCARNATION by Nigerian choreographer Qudus Onikeku; and immerse yourself in a show where crime-drama meets dance theatre with Scorched Earth by Luke Murphy – Attic Projects, inspired by The Field.

Terms & Condition

1. The promotion is open to residents of Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. A valid entry consists of a correct answer entered in the form above, accompanied by the entrant’s name, email address and a phone number.
3. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible, or corrupted entries will be accepted. No entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be accepted.
4. The Promotion will run from 23/04/2025 to midnight on 01/05/2025 inclusive.
5. By submitting an entry to the Promoter, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
6. Promotion limited to one entry per person. No entrant will win more than one prize.
7. By submitting an entry to the Promotor, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. It is the responsibility of You, the entrant, to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on acceptance of the prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize
9. Responsibility will not be accepted for entries lost, damaged, delayed or prevented as a result of any event beyond the Promoter’s control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind.. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries will become the property of the Promoter.
10. The prize is two tickets to a performance at Dublin Dance Festival. There will be four winners. Each winner will win one of the following four prizes: Two tickets to Specky Clark by Oona Doherty at the Abbey Theatre on Thursday, May 15th at 7:30pm | Two tickets to Re:INCARNATION by Qudus Onikeku at the Abbey Theatre on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:30pm (ticket includes access to the post show DJ set in the Abbey Bar) | Two tickets to Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Thursday, May 22nd at 7:30pm | Two tickets to Scorched Earth by Luke Murphy – Attic Projects at the Abbey Theatre on Saturday, May 24th at 7:30pm.
11. All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. The tickets can only be used on the date provided and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
14. The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
15. Where a winner has successfully claimed the prize, the Promoter shall dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize to the winner at the earliest opportunity. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as placing an obligation on the Promoter to dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize within a specified period of time.
16. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on The Irish Times website.
18. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.
19. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in https://www.irishtimes.com/policy-and-terms/privacy-policy and as set out in these terms and conditions.
20. Prizes are non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
21. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
