Dublin Dance Festival returns to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this May to open its milestone 21st Edition with the debut performance from Luail, Ireland’s new national dance company. This triple bill of new works by acclaimed choreographers Liz Roche, Mufutau Yusuf, and Maria Campos and Guy Nader sees Luail’s dancers join forces with Irish Chamber Orchestra in a vibrant exchange of music and dance.

Responding to the title Chora – an ancient Greek term that refers to space as both a physical place and an abstract idea – each piece in this captivating show draws on themes of home, memory and landscape.

Enjoy a memorable night of dance in the magnificent setting of Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, with an exclusive pre-show dinner in the member’s-only Circle Club at the theatre, followed by an overnight stay and breakfast in the conveniently located Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane.

Terms & Condition

1. The promotion is open to residents of Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. A valid entry consists of a correct answer entered in the form above, accompanied by the entrant’s name, email address and a phone number.
3. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible, or corrupted entries will be accepted. No entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be accepted.
4. The Promotion will run from 11/04/2025 to midnight on 27/04/2025 inclusive.
5. All entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than midnight on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
6. Promotion limited to one entry per person. No entrant will win more than one prize.
7. By submitting an entry to the Promoter, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. It is the responsibility of You, the entrant, to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on acceptance of the prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize
9. Responsibility will not be accepted for entries lost, damaged, delayed or prevented as a result of any event beyond the Promoter’s control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind.. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries will become the property of the Promoter.
10. The prize is two tickets to Chora by Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Tuesda, May 13th at 7:30pm, a pre-show dinner in the member’s-only Circle Club at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and an overnight stay for two on May 13th, 2025 in a beautifully appointed double room at the Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, with breakfast included. There will be one winner.
11. All prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter. The prize is valid on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 only. and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. Winner must collect tickets at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Box Office by 7:15pm. Travel, transfers and parking are not included. Employees of Dublin Dance Festival, Clayton Hotel and The Irish Times and their family members are not eligible to win.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, damage or consequential damage of any nature in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by the acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
14. The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
15. Where a winner has successfully claimed the prize, the Promoter shall dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize to the winner at the earliest opportunity. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as placing an obligation on the Promoter to dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize within a specified period of time.
16. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on The Irish Times website.
18. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.

20. Prizes are non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
21. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
