NightOwl Discovery, a US legal services firm is to establish its European centre of excellence for "ediscovery" in Dublin, leading to the creation of 25 legal and technology jobs over the next three years.

The group gave “careful consideration” to multiple locations before opting for Ireland. The Irish centre will be NightOwl’s first non-US operations office, and will be tasked with providing data operations and review facilities for its European clients.

"Ireland offers an excellent mix of highly skilled multi-lingual personnel, a well-established technology infrastructure, coupled with easy access to the entire European market, making it the ideal location to provide legal services across the EU."

NightOwl Discovery has seen significant growth fuelled by the global explosion of data volumes and the need to address affairs concerning the analysis and protection of privacy jurisdictions. The European Centre of Excellence in Dublin is a key part of the company’s expansion of its global cross-border litigation services, which includes offices in London, and a data centre in Hong Kong.
