Communications company ShoreTel and IP telephony company PhonePulse have signed a deal worth €290,000 with legal firm William Fry.

The deal will see William Fry implement a unified communications system in its new Grand Canal Square offices. The system removes the old PBX system, and brings instant messenger and mobile app integration to the company’s phone system. It will also allow audio conferencing and VoIP over wifi networks.

The move is set to save the legal firm more than €16,000 a year and boost productivity.

“ShoreTel has a deep understanding of how legal firms need to work,” Barry Dillon, regional sales director, Ireland, Middle East and Nordic regions with ShoreTel said. “Lawyers need to have access to the right information wherever they are and however they’re working, so they can respond to client needs.”
