Tech start-up Huggity has signed a deal with Liverpool Football Club that will see the firm’s “Fanpic” product used at some of the clubs big games.

The technology, which allows fans to tag themselves in a high-resolution image taken at the event, gives the club an additional opportunity to generate revenue from sponsorship, a portion of which would be shared with Huggity.

Huggity’s Fanpic was used at the Liverpool vs Arsenal game at the weekend and the next time will be the match with Manchester United on September 23rd.

“We are still in talks with other clubs; Liverpool were the first to jump on board,” said founder Mike Sikorski.
