Blurry iPhone photos? Apple says it could be a faulty camera

Tech giant is repairing a batch of iPhone 6 Plus phones with a faulty component

If your iPhone photos are a little blurry and out of focus, it might not be down to your lack of camera skills. Apple is recalling a limited number of its iPhone 6 Plus handsets that are affected by a faulty camera.

The problem is down to a small component failing in the phone’s iSight camera - the one on the rear of the handset.

The phones in question were mostly sold in a four-month period between September 2014 and January 2015.

The good news is that Apple is repairing affected phones free of charge; the bad news is if your phone’s serial number doesn’t match the affected batch, it could actually be your photography after all.
