Stores in Liffey Valley and Whitewater shopping centres will create 15 jobs

Apple premium reseller iConnect is opening a new store in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin tomorrow.

The store opening is part of an €8 million investment in the Irish retail market by iConnect, which is owned by the Qatari- based Al Mana group.

A second store will be opened in the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Co Kildare on December 14th.

The opening of the two stores will result in 15 new jobs.

“We’re very excited to open our new Apple premium reseller stores,” iConnect director John McEvoy said.

“Customers can visit our stores to trial and purchase the full range of Apple products and accessories.”

The new stores will offer the complete range of Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod along with a wide range of accessories.

Employing more than 3,000 people worldwide, and with assets of $1.2 billion, the Al Mana group’s turnover was $1.4 billion in 2011.
