ONE MORE THING:Swiss-owned specialist tour operator Inghams has packed up its skis and is leaving the Irish market. "Inghams regret to announce that it has reluctantly decided to cease tour operations from Ireland with effect from winter 2011-12 and that its offices in Dublin will close on Friday, August 19th," customers were told last week. Inghams said it would continue to operate its ski programme from Belfast and 20 other UK airports. But its Dublin operation has become another victim of the recession and the fall in travel by Irish people.

German car maker Audi has appointed Pembroke Communications as its PR agency, while Elevate has won the contract for sister marque Volkswagen.

Elsewhere, MQ2 Communications has won the contract to handle the public relations for the new RaboDirectPro12 rugby league, which is set to kick off in the first weekend of September.
