The master's in finance degree at UCD's business school has been ranked 34th in the world and 29th in Europe, according to the 2016 Financial Times top 50 global rankings.

The Smurfit school was the only Irish business school listed in the prestigious league. The ranking analyses courses based on a number of weighted criteria including: current salary, careers post-graduation, international faculty and international students as well as international mobility of graduates.

Commenting on the ranking, the school’s dean, Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh, said the ranking was “a significant endorsement of the UCD Smurfit MSc Finance and UCD Smurfit School”.

“Financial services are a key differentiator for Dublin and for us and we continue to work with the leading international financial services firms to further strengthen our international reputation and reach for our students and graduates,” he added.
