Cormac Coughlan of global advisory firm Teneo PSG was named this year’s Young Communications Professional of the Year on Friday.

The 2017 Awards for Excellence in PR, run by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), were presented at a gala luncheon at the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.

Some 21 awards were presented across a wide range of categories. The competition was open to public relations and communications professionals who are 28 years old or younger.
