Galway-headquartered Lifes2good is to create 50 jobs over the next three years, following a €5 million investment by the BDO Development Capital Fund.

Lifes2Good Founder James Murphy said the investment will help the company grow its US and UK business, support new product and brand development, and position other markets for accelerated growth.

“We have hugely ambitious expansion plans and we are now positioned to implement them,” he said.

BDO Development Capital Fund Investment Director Andrew Bourg said Lifes2Good is an excellent example of an Irish company that has grown by winning business on an international stage.

Founded in 1997 by James Murphy, Lifes2good is a sales, marketing and distribution group of category leading and clinically proven healthcare brands.

Meanwhile, SalesSense International today opened a new facility in Dundalk, which will create 100 jobs in the areas of sales, marketing, data analytics, IT and recruitment.

The company already employs more than 150 people in Ireland, and has bases in Galway and Dublin.
