Goodbody staff join Brewin Dolphin

Three staff members from the private clients division of Goodbody Stockbrokers left at the end of last month, it has emerged.

Three staff members from the private clients division of Goodbody Stockbrokers left at the end of last month, it has emerged.

Richard Flood, Dan McCauley and Suzanne Cashin have left the company to join investment management firm Brewin Dolphin. Ms Cashin worked in retirement services, while Mr McCauley and Mr Flood worked in investment management and portfolio services.

Goodbody lost several key staff last year, including Cedric Cruess Callaghan, Shane O’Reilly and Frank Brennan, who joined private wealth management business Smith Williamson.

Goodbody did not comment on the latest departures.

British-based Brewin Dolphin is a private clients adviser with offices in Dublin and Belfast. It has more than €30 billion under management and sponsored the Irish Open this year.

The Republic’s stockbroking firms have undergone a shake-up recently. Financial services firm Fexco took over Goodbody in 2011, while this year Davy took over Bloxham’s private clients and asset management arm.
