Walkinstown premises for sale at €1.85m

The former BWG food distribution centre for Spar and EuroSpar at Greenhills Road in Walkinstown, Dublin 12, is to be offered for sale with a guide price of €1.85 million.

Joint agents Savills and Mervyn Feely and Associates are marketing the 8,553sq m (92,062sq ft) warehouse and offices which stands on a site of 1.82 hectares (4.5 acres) with direct access on to the Greenhills Road.

Whoever buys the plant is expected to refurbish it or redevelop the site.

The building has a clear internal height ranging from four metres to 6.6 metres. The loading facilities include a four automated dock levellers with tailgate loading and three ground-level roller shutter doors.

There is also a useful yard space for truck parking and manoeuvrings.

The warehouse is located just 2km from the M50/Ballymount junction which provides rapid motorway access to all the main arterial routes from Dublin.

Gavin Butler of joint agent Savills says that apart from its value of the warehouse as a strategically located distribution centre, the site also offered redevelopment opportunities for a residential scheme, office, hotel , leisure and light industrial uses.
