An infill site with planning permission for seven good-sized apartments opposite Uncle Tom’s Cabin public house at Dundrum Road in Dublin 14 is to be offered for sale by tender on December 5th.

Stewart Walker of Vincent Finnegan Commercial is guiding €700,000 for Rosemount Cottage, an existing house on a site of 0.21 of an acre on the Milltown side of Dundrum Road.

The permission allows for the demolition of the old house and its replacement by seven apartments, six of them two-bedroom units with a floor area of 78sq m (840sq ft) and one three-bed penthouse with a floor space of 130sq m (1,400sq ft), bigger than the average house.

There will also be parking for 11 cars.
