A ready-to-go hotel site in Dublin city centre is on the market for more than €6.5 million through agent JLL.

The 0.36-acre site, on sale with freehold title and vacant possession, is located at the junction of New Street South and Kevin Street Upper. This is about 600 metres west of St Stephen’s Green. Planning permission for a 137-bedroom three-star hotel was recently secured.

Dan O’Connor of JLL says the site is the only major ready-to-go hotel development opportunity for sale in Dublin city centre where there is an undersupply of hotel rooms.

“Given the site’s high profile location and attractive planning consent with an average room size of just over 20sq m, we anticipate strong buyer interest from a combination of domestic and international property developers, hotel operators and hotel investors,” he says.
