The site of the former Naas Cattle Market on the outskirts of the Co Kildare town goes for sale from today at €850,000.

John Reynolds of agent CBRE is handling the sale of the 2.27 hectares (5.61 acres) at Osberstown which is likely to be used for an industrial operation or for warehousing because of its strategic location on the M7 motorway on the outskirts of Naas.

The site has planning permission for an industrial building extending to 8,116sq m (87,897sq ft) which can be sub-divided into 17 units

There is also approval for a second industrial building with a floor area of 1,493sq m (16,070sq ft).
