The AIB Start-up Academy, an intensive eight week training programme run by Irish Times Training, entered its second day of modules on Monday, February 2, in which all 11 finalists had a day-long module on design thinking.
The finalists were introduced to design thinking by mentor Dr Johnny Ryan (executive director of The UCD Innovation Academy). The design thinking method is useful in reducing the risk of new projects and presenting a compelling proposition, while also helping to differentiate your start-up from competitors.
The next module is Monday, February 3, which will cover finance.
