Dublin Fashion Week (actually four days) opens on Monday and runs until Thursday. For the first time, most of the events will be open to the public, such as a collective salon show (€49.95, tickets can be purchased online), a pop-up boutique (free), and “In Conversation” talks with Paul Costelloe and with Amanda Pratt of Avoca (€10).
Guests at the fashion show in the Westbury Hotel will see current collections from Paul Costelloe, Lainey Keogh (whose spring-summer collection is pictured here), Joanne Hynes, Richard Lewis, Anthology and Rachel Mackey, among others, while Peter O'Brien will host a champagne reception and viewing of the 1939 George Cukor movie
The Womenwith Joan Crawford about a wealthy woman whose husband is having an affair with a female shop assistant. For further details see www.dublinfashionweek.com.
